Next Steps

MTTA proposes a logical progression of activities, with the first activities to be focused on reviewing recent history of the sector and evaluating the capacity and performance of different stakeholders. This review will result in a consensus as to the current situation, followed by the evaluation of which models and international best practices best fit Afghanistan.

MTTA will have a director selected by the Board of Directors of ICC Afghanistan.
There will be a separate Board of Advisors that will consist of reputable and knowledgeable people who can increase the impact and effectiveness of the think tank.

Vision

MTTA will be the main reference for the coordination and synchronization in between the stakeholders of the sector and the outcomes of the think tank will form the basis of the development programs and plans of the sector from different perspectives.

Mission

MTTA will create a platform for involvement of representatives of each stakeholder group in comprehensive, extensive, deep, multilateral, sustainable, and realistic discourse.  The main activities will focus on the past performance evaluation, international best practices study, networking with international major stakeholders, development of the policy papers, and organization of the public informative events.
